Man, casts have come along way!

 

On Saturday October 10th you and your family came over to celebrate Mr. Bob and my BD.  Your mother brought a cake.  Apparently you have a new girlfriend named Mia.  You showed me a photos.  She's cute.  Here's the card you guys gave me.

Mr. Bob and I are in Niagara Falls for Marcus & Danielle's wedding on Saturday October 17th.


 Thursday night we went to Honey's in Niagara Falls for a bite to eat.

 

Friday night was the wedding rehearsal dinner at the Pearl Street Bar & Grill in downtown Buffalo.

Sunday night at Casa Antica, In Lewiston NY to celebrate my 71st BD.  On the left is me, Uncle Jeffrey, Danielle, Marcus and Mr. Bob.  On the right is Uncle Bruce, Aunt Angela, Uncle Rico, Aunt Kim (my brother's wife) and my brother, Uncle Ted.






On Saturday, October 24th your father brought you and your brother over to see me and Mr. Bob.

I showed you the bed we just got for my office. The cabinet opens up and turns into a queen bed.  You and your brother loved it.  Folding it back up you two got behind the mattress.

 

 

I made you and your brother rolls and pasta with butter for you.

 

 

 

 

The three of us played Wii in my bedroom and we were talking about you wanting to come over to spend the night.  You wanted to come on Friday the 30th, but I had already committed to helping some of the women from church at Save The Family shelter in Phoenix.  I explained that we were holding a fall themed event for children living there.  These children have virtually nothing where as you and your brother have almost everything.  It is so important that you learn to give back.  Zachary  said he wanted to go to help.  Then you said you wanted to go too.  I had to call the person in charge to get approval.  She said yes!  Your father said no.  Andrew said that your mother makes the decisions so I emailed here the information about Save the Family and she responded by saying

 "I think that's awesome!   Thank you for taking them.".  So, I am meeting you guys at the Tempe Mall so I can pick you two up and go to the shelter on Friday.

We arrived at Save The Family and Tami, the Director, had you put water in the fridge.  Please remember "IT'S ALL ABOUT GIVING BACK!!!"

After the adult volunteers served dinner for the families and cleaned up, we left.  You did not like the food that was being served so I had to take you out to dinner.  It was a Friday night and BJ's was packed.  I thought there was a Chick File' near my house, but it was a Jack in the Box, so we went to Rosati's for chicken wings and pizza.  Then home.

You did great sleeping in my office all night.  I mentioned that a Denny's had just opened on Scottsdale Road and Mayo Blvd. and you wanted to go there for breakfast.  I asked Mr. Bob if he wanted to join us and he said yes.  You and your brother ordered a Christmas shake.  Total calories were something like 1500.  I try to eat only about 1200 calories for a full day.  You two left with Mr. Bob and I stayed to wait in line to pay the bill since I had a 20% discount coupon on my phone.  We got into the truck and I noticed that Mr. Bob was in the wrong lane and asked him where we were going.  He said to the Promenade and I asked why.  You two in the back said we were going to Cracker Jax's to play miniature golf.

On August 10th, Marcus, Uncle Bruce's son came for a visit.  Both he and Uncle Bruce stayed with me and Mr. Bob.  On Wednesday we went to see the DBacks play.

On Wednesday the 15th Mr. Bob and I picked you and your brother up at the Metro Station parking. This is you in the back seat with me. 

 

 

Once at our house you and Zachary started shooting shots of Coke.  The two of you had a riot drinking them.

 

 

Mr. Bob took us to McDonald's for lunch.

 

We watched a movie on the TV and then you and I played Wii bowling.  I had a 257 game and then you beat me the next two games.  I showed you how to take two steps an then release the ball and finish with you arm over your head.  That's why you beat me in those two games.

 

Before we took you back to meet your mother, we had dinner and Zachary made frosting and the two of you dipped  mini marshmallows on tooth picks into the frosting.

On July 21st Uncle Bruce and I went to Niagara Falls so he could meet his son and my grandson for the first time.  Marcus is an extremely nice young man.  He is getting married in October.  Your parents will explain all of this to you later.

On the 28th Uncle Bruce and I returned from a very good visit with Marcus.

On the 31st you and your brother were to come over for a sleepover, but Zachary didn't want to come because he said it was the last weekend before school starts.  So, I took you guys out to lunch at the Olive Garden.  We had a nice visit.






 

June 2015

Mr. Bob and I have been in CO to visit Mr. Bob's daughter and her family.  We arrived home on Sunday the 7th and held a 10th BD party for you, because instead of your parents giving you a BD party, they bought some very expensive for you.  You are now in double digits "10 years old".

To all my nurse peeps.....It's not nurse's week but this picture made me think about a conversation I recently had with the boys about dead bodies (don't ask), I explained that where I work some die but mostly we help save them....Drew then says "Wow mom, you're like a super hero without any super powers"!......dang, I love that kid!!

To my peeps who have kids that watch the game videos on you tube. Drew has his own channel...it's called Drewdoesgaming ( it's all one word). He's posting like crazy so please tell your kids to check out it smile emoticon

On Wednesday the 17th I fell and fractured my ulna in my left arm.  You and your  brother  were going to spend the night, but I could not deal with having you guys over with me having a new cast.  First time in my whole life to  have a cast.  So on June 20th you and your bother came over for the day.

We watched a movie. 

We talked about starting school.  Classes start Wednesday, August 4th.

We went to Barro's for an early dinner.  We ordered cinnamon sticks.  When they arrived they looked burnt.   They gave us a new batch.
