On April 1, Mr. Bob and I came to your and your brother's first game playing on the same team.

Here is your warm up session.

The thunder team lost 10 to 44, but you tried hard.  The other team had a really tall young boy.  I think he made at least 22 points.  Don't ever give up.

After the game we went for lunch at BJ's.  On our drive I told you that I was so proud of you for getting 4 "A's" this semester.  So I decided to split the money you will receive.  I gave you half, which was $20.00.  I will place $20.00 in your savings account.

So after eating lunch you, Zachary and  I went to The Game Shop.  You loaned your brother $5.00 so he could buy something and then you found something you wanted.  I paid the tax.

On April 8th Mr. Bob and I came to see you play.

On the 15th we game to see you play. 

Took a couple of photos.  We couldn't go to Denny's because you had other plans.

Will see you guys tomorrow for Easter.

I had told you and your brother that we had a surprise at our house.

It's a baby grand player piano.

You guys came over the next day.  It was Easter.

You really got into the piano with Mr. Bob showing you a few easy songs.

I didn't get to hide the eggs this year, but I did fill them with peanut butter chocolate eggs and peeps.  You don't like the marsh mellow eggs, but took them home.  Uncle Bruce will probably eat them.

Your brother asked me to get him  a pyramid for your dresser from Vegas and I did, but I couldn't find anything for your dresser so I gave you a camel with a baby that I got in Dubai.

.Plus the underwear by Ethika.  You now have three pairs.  One from Christmas, one you bought with your own money and now the one for Easter.

On the 22nd we went to your 4th game.

Your brother hurt his ankle on Tuesday and is in a boot.  He will not be able to play the rest of the season.  You were not happy about that.  Your team "Thunder" has not won a game so far.  You told me & Mr. Bob that if your team doesn't win one game that you will never play basketball again.

You got the ball twice in this game and dribbled it down the side line and one time you were fouled on and had to take a couple of free shots.   

After the game we went to Denny's for lunch.  You did not want to eat anything there.  I said I would take you to In and Out Burger for takeout.  Your brother had a bet with Mr. Bob that he could not talk for 5 minutes.  No matter what Mr. Bob did or you did.  He made it and got $5.00.

You wanted some quarters from me to play a game.  You eventually ended up with $5.00 between me and Mr. Bob.  You won a couple of balls and some other things.

On the way to your house you put the two balls under your shirt and said..."Look I've got boobies!

See you next week.

Mr. Bob and I went to see you play on the 29th.  You were really playing great.  You didn't stay in one corner and started to move under the basket.  Your father said he would give you $20.00 if you scored.  He said money is a big motivator. You took a lot of shots and came so very close.  Finally you scored a three pointer.  It was really exciting.

You didn't bring your towel with you and I watched you wipe your face with your shirt.

On Sunday March 5th you, your father and brother came over for a BBQ.  We played some putting.  I paid for holes in one.  You won $5.00 and your brother one $15.00.  Uncle Jeffrey doubled downed and didn't win anything.

I gave you your crosses and you seemed happy with them.

On Mardi Gras Mr. Bob, Uncle Jeffrey and I went to Pappadeaux in the west valley for some New Orleans style food.

Your Grandmother came to visit.  You gave up your room so she could sleep in a bed.  She paid you $5.00 a night for your room.  However, you had to sleep on the floor on a blow up mattress. 

You said....."Can you believe I had to sleep on the floor in my own house?" 

Remember she is your grandmother and that was so nice of you to give up your room.

February 2017

On Saturday the 1th  I met your father at the Light Rail parking.  We celebrated Mardi Gras because I was leaving on Monday 13 for Israel. You and your brother wore purple & green. You were hungry so we went to BJ's for lunch.

You helped Mr. Bob by shredding some of his documents.

You wore Mr. Bob's bow tie like a headband.

Then we started on the King Cake.

You got the baby!

I agreed to give you and your brother $30.00 for taking down our Christmas/Mardi Gras tree.  You really did not help so Zachary ended up with $20.00 and you got $10.00 for Shredding.

I told you I was leaving for Israel and what would you like to bring back for you.  Both of you said no religious gift.  Then you agreed a cross is okay, but not wood!  So I brought you back a cross on a stone with a black rope from the Lake of Galilee.

I told your brother that I would take him to London for as graduation gift.  And I told you that I would take you to London for your graduation gift if I was still alive.

The trip was interesting and humbling.

Well, you started out with pins removed and a new cast.

On Thursday the 12th Mr. Bob and I met your father, mother Zachary and you at Firebirds for dinner.

We had fun!  I told you and your brother that I am going to take all of you to Miami for a couple of days and then drive down to Key West.  I think you will enjoy the trip.

Your father sent this to me yesterday.  Cast is removed and this shows where the three pins were placed.

I'm having surgery tomorrow to remove 2 kidney stones.  It will be a piece of cake.
