On Saturday I went to see Zachary play his first football game of the season.  He asked me if he could come over to my house and you said you wanted to come to.  At your house you wanted me to see your room.  You showed me lots of Marvel stuff and a few comic books you had in plastic.  You really love Marvel comics. So, after going to your house and getting your stuff, we headed out to Hungry Howie's for a bit to eat.  First we went to the on Ray, but they did not have dine in, so we went to the one on S. Higley.  You sprinkled crushed peppers on your pizza.  You really love hot stuff!

While your brother and I were making toffee, you were setting up your shot glasses.  When Zachary was finished cooking, the two of you make coke shots. 

 

 

You wanted to take your shot glasses home, so I packed them up in a bag.

 

Time for bed.

 

 

  Zachary mentioned how soft my blanket was. Zachary loved it.  I told him  I'd get him one.  And I will.  Then you wanted wanted one.  I told you I'd get you one also.

Also, you mentioned that you were still playing the trumpet, which belonged to your grandfather.

 

 

You two are so cute.  You both sleep on your right side.

The last time you slept over, the plan was to go to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy your mother a can opener like the one we have.  It takes the lid off with a magnet and won't leave any sharp edges.  I had two little gift bags with small purses and the cool candle lighter.  Zachary  picked the orange/coral one for you mother.

At one o'clock you woke me up.  You were crying and said your stomach hurt.  I took you out to the family room and got a big blanket to cove you.  Eventually, you fell asleep with your head on the arm of the chair.  I couldn't sleep sitting up, so after awhile I went back to bed.  About a half hour later, you came back and got me again.  Went back with you to the FR and started tucking you in. You seemed better so I said, "Why don't I tuck you in bed with Zachary?'.  You said okay, and you slept the rest of the night with him.

 

The next morning we went to church.  I took you and your brother out with me right after communion.  You were a big help in the kitchen.  After church we went to Denny's for breakfast.  You two had chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milkshakes.

 

Then off to meet your mother.

 

Saw you at your brothers football game on Saturday the 16th.  I noticed you had braces.  you said you got them put on  Wednesday.

 

On Saturday April 30th, Zachary sent me a text saying he wasn't playing football today because he didn't feel well and wanted to know if I was still coming to take the two of you to lunch.  I did and we went to BJ's.  I got this photo of you with your braces on.

 

 

After lunch we went to Sweeties!

You are catching up to me.  Soon you'll be taller than I am.

 

 

 

You had a pool party and a sleepover at your friends.  I hope you make it thru the night.  On Sunday I sent you a text and asked if you made it thru the night.  Your answer was Yep!

 

 

Last day of school is May 19th.  We scheduled a sleepover at my house for Saturday the 14th after Zachary's game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

March 2016

Well, you and you family came over on Sunday the 6th to celebrate an early Easter.  Mr. Bob and I will be leaving on Thursday the 10th and won't be back home until the day after Easter.

You are getting too old to hid Easter eggs, so I decided I would hide money and put a notes in the eggs and you had to figure out where the money is.  Sort of like a scavenger hunt.  We had a lot of fun.   They weren't all easy and you needed some help.  Next year I think I'll do some thing similar.

You brought over some hot snacks, which was really hot.  You also have been trying new foods and even crushed peppers.

I had the table all set outside, but it didn't warm up and it got a little chilly, so we moved into the dining room.  We had chicken, which you helped cook on the grill, corn on the cob, veggies, pasta with butter and rolls.

Mr. Bob thought you had a great time.  You even gave him a hug.  We had a small putting contest.

We also, burned 2 small flags I had and some palms that I had from last year. 

 

 

Then it was Xbox car racing.

 

We explained that we would not be in town for your Spring Break, but you said you'd come for a Friday & Saturday overnight.  Mr. Bob and I both thought you had a great time.

 

On the 25th your father borrowed your mothers car and she posted this on Facebook:

 Brian took my car and brought it back like this!! Some lady stopped at a green light to give a beggar money coming out of Walmart parking lot.

On Saturday, February 6th you, you brother and father came over to celebrate Mardi Gras.  Your father and Mr. Bob really got into it.

 

Then we all had a putting contest and then cut the King Cake.  You took a piece of cake home for your mother with the baby in it.  She spent the weekend with some friends at Uncle Jeffrey's house, but will be back in time tomorrow to watch the Super Bowl 50.

 

We watched some TV and you and had a bet on the Super Bowl 50.  You took the Panthers and I took the Broncos.  The bet was $5.00.  I didn't like the Panthers mostly because the quarterback was Cam and he is vary arrogant and full of himself.  Whereas, I really like Peyton Manning.  He is a real class act.  After the broncos won, Cam didn't have much to say and  was a poor looser.  You still owe me five bucks.

January 2016

One last round of fireworks with the boys! Saying goodbye to a home, a neighborhood and 2015! Happy New Year!

The only moving casualty and it was because of Bruce!!

Mr. Bob and I returned home on January 4th.  Switched the tree from Christmas to Mardi Gras.

Ordered the King Cake.  Looks like your coming over on February 6th to celebrate. 

 

 

 

December 2015

Well it's December and all the Tantillo clan will be arriving on Thursday the 10th.

Got this beautiful Christmas Cactus at Fry's.  I just love it.  I haven't had one in a long time.

 

On Friday the 13th your Aunt Angela had a "Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest".

Saturday, everyone came over to our house for a little holiday cheer.

  I opened my gift from you and your family.  A hot towel rack.  Great! 

  

 

Then we made ice cream in Mr. Bob's ice cream maker I got him for Christmas.

Making the vanilla was easy, but when it came to making chocolate ice cream it was a little difficult.  Mr. Bob messed up with the cocoa.  So you and I went to AJ's to pick up a couple of things we needed to finish making the chocolate ice cream.  "You said it was the fastest trip ever to the store."  We did a high five!. 

 

When we were done, we took a sample over to Mr. Ron.

 

I showed you and your brother how to use the new can opener we had.  We planned on going to Bed Bath & Beyond to get one for your mother for Christmas in the morning.

 

You and your brother picked the shot glasses you want when I die.  I asked if there was anything else you wanted and you said yes.  I asked what?  You said "Your cross.  The one you wear around your neck."

I tucked you two into bed later and I went to bed.  About 3:00 you father called to tell me that you were sick.  I checked on you and got a blanket for you  and I to sit in my recliner.  You had a tummy ache and you talked to your father.  You mother came to get both of you a little later.  Unfortunately, we never made it to Bed Bath and Beyond.

Just walked in on Zack telling Drew the story of his adoption..... And apparently it's been told so many times that Drew asks him to tell it..... Whaaatttt??
